Treatment for Excessive Sweating

Treatment for excessive sweating also called HYPERHYDROSIS, which occurs in the hands, feet and armpits due to failure of the sympathetic nervous system.

THORACIC SYMPATECTOMY is the appropriate surgical treatment for this disease since it permanently ends sweating in more than 95% of cases.

The procedure is performed by Video Thoracoscopy (VATS) with 2 small incisions in the armpits under general anesthesia.

Recovery is rapid, usually discharged from hospital within 12 to 24 hours.
